We work directly with local hosts, guides and makers, shaping travel around lived traditions, landscapes and community rhythms rather than spectacle. MAVKA is the next chapter of Experience Ukraine, shaped by more than a decade of Nataliya Cummings work running journeys across Ukraine and neighbouring regions.

Ukrainian by birth, based in the UK for over 15 years, Nataliya developed Experience Ukraine through years of living, travelling and working alongside communities where folk culture is part of everyday life. MAVKA continues this work in a more focused form — centred on small groups, long-term relationships, and travel shaped by people rather than itineraries.
